This will take you about 7 hour drive from Kampala You will Escape the city in the morning and extend to western Uganda through lots of tea plantations and later to Kibale. This park is East African world of Chimpanzee. Check in Sky Tree Banda within Kibale National Park and relax in the wild. In the evening prepare to take a nocturnal nature walk with the park. The park is organized into trails that will help you walk well in a very fresh environment. The tour guides will show you the primates exist in the forest. This can take you up to 2 hours. Return to park headquarters and proceed to Sky Tree Banda, relax, dinner and over night. Day Two Today we explore the world of Chimps. Uganda is a Chimpanzee paradise. Chimpanzees occupy a wide range of habitats, from dense primary rainforests to dry savannah woodlands and reverine forests. Uganda is one of the most biologically diverse nations on the African continent and hosts a wide chimpanzee population. Kibale Forest NP has a new product and offers the opportunity to participate during one or more days in the habituation experience. After Breakfast in the morning the Rangers will visit with you an assigned group for habituation. When you find the group, Rangers will try to spend some time with them. This can only be done gradually and the process can take up to hours before tourists will be allowed. Once a group is habituated to humans, they lose their fear for humans and are more vulnerable to poachers. Daily monitoring becomes necessary for their safety and health. It's an effective way against poaching: when snares are found in the park, the guards will remove them and if animals are found in the snares, or when they are sick, a veterinarian can help them. You will experience chimpanzee feeding, playing the whole day. You will have to move with parked lunch, as you are more likely to return late in the evening. Over night at Sky tree Banda. Day Three Depart from Kibale, early morning at 8.30 am, to head the Queen Elizabeth National park of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth N.P. is one of the outstanding treasures of Uganda. QENP has recently been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO.
