15 DAYS IN AFRICA
|

Day one
Arrival at Entebbe Airport,
take a 40 minutes drive and transfer to Kampala-Uganda’s Capital and Check
in Fang- Fang Hotel .This is a 3 star Hotel ideal quiet and cool environment
accommodation with Clean self contained rooms. The center has a dinning,
resting, conference room, with a secure green environment.
At 1.00 pm in the mild sunny afternoon,
we transfer to Speke Country resort in Munyonyo for Lunch, just 15 minutes
drive south of Kampala aside of Africa’s biggest water body lake Victoria.
Speke Country resort is a little world of itself. The recreation facilities
make it absolutely pleasurable and comfortable experience. The resort covers
a big gorgeous landscape overlooking Lake Victoria. After lunch you can
enjoy activities like; Swimming, fishing and boat riding.
In the evening, return to Fang -Fang
Hotel, dinner and over night.
Day Two
Depart Kampala early morning
and head to north west of Uganda to explore Uganda’s natural wonders.
One of the most spectacular in Uganda
and indeed in the Whole of Africa. Here is the awe-inspiring Murchison
Falls, where the River Nile hurls itself in appalling convulsions through
a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap.
Depart early morning and your driver/guide
will be at your door step to pick you up in the morning.
Escape the city at 8.00 am through
Luwero and Masindi. Take a stop in Masindi town for lunch. You will have
a rich menu with a variety of options to select like African foods, chips,
salads, passion juice etc.
Continue with the journey and by
4.00pm, enter the magnificent Murchison falls National Park. Check in the
luxurious Paraa Safari lodge. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat trip
on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the Falls. En route
you will see hippos, crocodiles, water buck and a wide variety of birds
the unusual shoebill stork. The boat stops just tens of meters from the
"Devil’s Cauldron". Return to your Paraa lodge accommodation, dinner and
overnight
Day Three
Wake up early morning, by
6.30 am, the African experience rocks again. Start a great game drive around
the park. You have a wildlife guide with you, to tell you all about animals.
This is a chance to see thousands of wildlife e.g., Monkeys, hyenas, lions,
Elephants.
The Nyamsika plateau, you will see
Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hartebeests and many more. Proceed to
the top of the Falls where you can see the Nile's beauty perfected!! Marvel
at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6 meter canyon
dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow,
a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile..."the Murchison
Falls".
In the afternoon drive to Kibale
park to explore Chimps. The route slowly ascends from the Victoria Nile
basin into the villages and farmland where every imaginable fruit and vegetable
of the tropics can be seen growing. Overnight at the CVK Lodge situated
on a high saddle between two crater lakes. Rooms feature local crafts and
materials, high ceilings and four poster beds with mosquito netting. En
suite baths have hot and cold running water and flush toilets.
Day Four
Spend a full day exploring
on foot in the Kibale Forest and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This morning
is spent trekking for chimpanzees in the Kibale National Park. This afternoon
visit the Bigodi Sanctuary created in 1992 by a community environmental
group as a way to effectively use natural resources. Hike on well-maintained
foot paths with community guides. Wildlife in and around the park includes
138 species of birds and eight species of primates. Overnight at the CVK
Lodge
Day Five
This park is East African
world of Chimpanzee. Check in Travelers Inn
After lunch move to park headquarters
and start your trek in search of Chimpanzee. The park is organized into
trails that will help you walk well in a very fresh environment. The tour
guides will show you the chimpanzee but other primates exist in the forest.
This can take you up to 4 hours. Return to Travelers inn relax in the African
Wild, dinner and over night
Spend a full day exploring on foot

Day Six
In the morning depart to
Queen Elizabeth National Park. Its about 2hr drive from Kibale National
Park. This park includes a remarkable variety of eco-systems from semi-deciduous
tropical forests to green meadows, savannah, crater lakes and swamps. Within
the park a vast array of wildlife can be found elephant, buffalo, hippo,
leopard and the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha are just a few species
you are likely to see. Along the shores of Lake Edward and the Kazinga
Channel are over five hundred bird species, including the Shoe-bill stork,
black bee-eater, eleven different species of kingfisher and several eagles
and other raptors.
After Lunch, at 3.00 pm, head to
shores of Lake Edward to take one of the most fascinating boat cruise in
the park. This Launch trip starts on Lake Edward and moves along Kazinga
water channel. Other tourists from other countries will join you. A guide
will be on the trip to answer every question. Lots of water animals, e.g.
Crocodiles, Hippos, beautiful water birds, water buffalos, 65 year old
Elephants, drinking water by the shores.
You will have a chance to see a hippo
at a closer range and say hello. This will be a perfect chance to
record your African experience. The cruise takes two hours after which
you will come back, and if time allows take an evening game drive. Over
Night in Mweya safari lodge.
Day Seven
Wake up early morning, by
6.00 am, and the African experience rocks again. Start a great game
drive around the park. You will have a wildlife guide with you to tell
you all about animals. This is a chance to see thousands of wildlife e.g.,
Monkeys, hyenas, lions, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, and thousands
of beautiful birds. You will have a chance to view up to 604 different
species of birds-the highest number of bird species to be found within
any nature reserve in Africa.
The game drive takes up to 4 hours
around the park. Remember to pass with your Camera to electronically record
this experience.
After Breakfast escape Queen Elizabeth
and to travel to PNV park in Rwanda, the home of the famous mount Gorillas.
Every year thousands of people from around the world flock to this area
to see the famous Gorillas. Over Night in Kinigi view Guest House
Day Eight
Wake up early morning, by
6.30 am and Breakfast will be ready at 7.00 a.m. At 7.30 am, your Gorilla
trekking Guide will conduct a brief lesson on Gorilla trekking with other
trekkers before you set off.
Enter the sanctuary and enjoy the
beauty and freshness of the forest, home of the mountain gorillas.
Proceed through dense bush to trek for these endangered animals.
You will move further and enter this
unspoiled thick environment to discover the African natural treasures.
Tour Guides will discover gorilla and you will indeed enjoy them. Their
behaviors are unique. Gorilla trekking may take 3-6 hours.
Looking deep into the eyes of these
gentle giants is one of the best things Africa can offer. As you are moving
in the trails, you will listen to music of nature. Birds will be flying
and singing, butterflies of different colors. Your guide will be with you
all the times to answer any question you may pose and of course to tell
you the dynamics of nature that goes on in PNV Park
Other primates also live in the forest
including the black-and-white Columbus monkey, red tail monkey and chimpanzee.
Return to the Accommodation at Kinigi for dinner and overnight.
Day Nine
Return to Uganda and head
to Kabale town. Today you visit lake Bunyonyi Camp. You like the country
side? Now here is your perfect choice.
Bunyonyi Overland Camp is situated
on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi (the deepest in Uganda, home of Otters &
crayfish) in South-western Uganda.
This Campsite is the most facilitated
along the shores, it is ecologically built with local materials.
It offer the following:-Camping facilities
(Hot showers, clean toilets & toilet paper), Accommodation in furnished
cottages, Snacks & food (the menu includes the famous fresh Crayfish
right from the Lake).
Fully stocked Bar plus Cold Drinks,
Picnic & relaxation areas, Breath taking view (Mt. Muhavura-4127m can
be seen on a clear day), Swimming, Canoeing, Volley ball/ Badminton and
many Indoor Games, Bird watching, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Tortoise pond,
beside the lake but if not accommodation is available. Relax in the evening,
Dinner and overnight in self contained cottage besides the lake.
Day Ten
Wake up in the morning,
breakfast and take a boat ride around the lake. You will see birds and
of course enjoy the freshness of the lake. This is a canoe boat which you
will have a chance to participate. A guide however will be available. But
if water is a problem to you then you will just play other games available.
Many tourists from other countries camp here, you will meet other people
too.
At 11.00 am prepare to travel to
Kampala, arriving late afternoon. Various stops will be done including
a stop at the Equator where you will stand in the two hemispheres of the
planet simultaneously. Check in your Hotel. In the evening you can choose
to visit Kampala’s hot night spots, like Rock garden, The Venue, Nandos,
Stakeout, or a visit at Casino.
Day Eleven
Today we explore Lake Victoria.
Drive to Entebbe and take a boat ride to Ngamba island sanctuary.
Day Twelve
After Breakfast in the morning,
today traverse the East of Uganda to discover for yourself the source of
the World longest river-The Nile.
Depart to Jinja, East of Kampala;
it’s about 1hr drive from Kampala. We shall stop briefly in Mabira forest
and proceed to the Source of River Nile. The Nile begins its long journey
to Mediterranean sea in Egypt from here.
After touring the source of Nile,
transfer to Bujjagali waterfalls to see River Nile saying a different story.
Bujjagali falls re massive water falls with great pressure. If chance allows,
you will see people doing white water rafting on the falls. We also have
local Ugandan who rafts using African methods.
Transfer to Jinja Nile Resort for
Lunch. This is a great resort with pretty facilities. You will have a chance
of having your meal while listening to the flowing waters of the Nile.
After Lunch, you can take a swim
or relax in grass-thatched umbrellas overlooking the Nile.
In the evening travel back to Kampala
arriving at G8 Rest House in the Evening, dinner and overnight.
Day Thirteen
After Breakfast in the morning,
at 9.am we depart to Uganda Wildlife Center in Entebbe. This is a gazetted
area aside of Lake Victoria where a number of animals and birds are kept.
Lions, chimps, monkeys, and lots birds do exist in this place.
At 1.00 Pm take a 10 minutes drive
transfer to Imperial Resort Beach. We shall have Lunch at the beach. -
Chips and good Tilapia Fish.
The beach is located on the shores
of Lake Victoria with a number of activities, which include: swimming,
beach volleyball, beach soccer, camel rides, and swings. Return in the
evening, dinner and overnight.
Day Fourteen
Today we go Cultural.
Breakfast in the morning at the
Hotel, move to Experience Africa Crafts Village at Buganda road. It’s a
6 minutes drive from the Hotel. We do crafts shopping.
Transfer to Garden City. Garden city
is Uganda’s biggest shopping center with a variety of shops, supermarkets,
beauty salon, ice cream parlors and Ugandan, Indian, and Italian restaurants.
We shall spend time shopping and
later move for Lunch at Ekitobeero Restaurant for Uganda’s traditional
meal. This restaurant prepares only Uganda’s traditional meal like the
well-cooked Matooke, groundnuts, peas, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes,
millet, and chicken. This is your chance to test real African dish.
Return to G8 Rest House at 3.00 p.m,
relax on a Sunday afternoon. At 4.30 p.m we visit the Ndeere Cultural Center-
to see African dances. Ndeere troupe is the most popular cultural group
in Uganda; they stage typical African dances and music that will not leave
you seated. You will have a chance to participate in the dances
Day Fifteen
Today is our final day in
Uganda. We do final shopping in Kampala malls and later transfer to Entebbe
International airport and take a flight back home
